Busier Than Ever

Coming at a different time during the day has made me see a lot of new faces, but even then I see some familiar faces. Most of the tables around me are full but my usual spot was open which surprised me.

In front of me there is a group of four, three guys and a girl. There is a guy in a purple shirt, a red shirt, and a long sleeve gray shirt, and the girl is in denim. When you look over at the table you see two soda bottles, one water bottle, a motorcycle helmet, and two laptops. Purple starts conversing first as he drinks his Dr. Pepper. He starts eating his chips along with Red as he takes bites of his sandwich. A guy in plaid joins the table again and red begins to talk. Gray looks at red as he talks but once plaid begins to type he gets distracted a little and looks at plaid’s screen before looking at red again. Gray has his hands over his mouth which shows that’s he is listening but also a little tense. Plaid begins to talk to Red and gray doesn’t listen as closely as he looks off into the distance. Purple makes a comment before the rest of the guys start talking. Denim is doing her homework, which seems to be on marine animals. She’s really focused as she doesn’t look up from her work. But once her phone rings, she responds to the text immediately. The conversation between the guys slowly seem to die down as plaid writes his work on a sheet of paper and gray begins to look down at his phone. Red is still talking and he says something that made purple laugh out loud. Once red stops talking, plaid begins to talk. While the conversation is going on Gray scratches his neck and all of them begin to look around. Purple brings out his Laptop and drinks his Dr. Pepper. Red seems to dominate most of the conversation as he’s the only one that doesn’t have homework to do. Gray begins to talk and as he does so he looks around. All of them begin to laugh and Purple isn’t as close to the three guys so he seems as though he’s excluded. He looks up wanting to know the conversation but none of them are talking to him and he goes back to looking down at his computer screen. Plaid then begins to show the two guys closest to him something on the computer screen that causes them to laugh. Purple begins to look at his screen and pulls out his phone. Red makes a comment making purple laugh and look up. Red is still talking and begins to use his hands more often as he talks. Purple drinks his Dr. Pepper again and replies to Red. Although Red seems to dominate the conversation all of them seem to be engaged in the conversation at some point. However, the girl is still focused and doing her work, not being distracted with what the guys are saying.

Also in front of me there are two girls. One is in white and the other is in black. They seem to be studying together using one computer, Black explains a concept to white as she doesn’t seem to get it and listens closely to what Black has to say. White then leave as I assume for not that long and Black stops doing her studying and goes on her phone. Black has a red bull next to her assuming she needs energy in order for her to study. Black is now in a more relaxed posture as she is leaned back in her chair. She has also moved the computer so it’s only facing her. She has her hand on her cheek as she looks over at the screen. I assume that she isn’t studying anymore but again she begins to read off the screen to herself as I see her mouth moving slowly. Black looks up whenever someone walks by which could mean White is coming back. She also talks a sip of her Red Bull and goes back to looking at her computer screen. Her posture becomes more relaxed as time goes by and while never does end up coming back. 

People begin to leave but all seems to be well as when people leave more people come in.
