The Norm

I walk into the building and see multiple group of people sitting at different tables. Some sit in pairs and others sit alone. A girl that sits alone is on her phone. She seems very interested on her phone never looking up from it. Her bag sits next to her on the chair she pushes the chair that holds her bag with her foot and then pulls it back. A girl, Tammy, and a guy, Tom sit across from each other. A computer is on the table open to web page. A binder, notebook, pencils, and a back are also on the table. Tammy does not pay much attention to the supplies on the table instead she talks to Tom. Tom seems to be the quiet one of the two only speaking occasionally. Tom’s hands are folded on the table while Tammy taps one of her pencils on the table.

A guy, Phil, stands waiting for his drink while he waits he starts pacing back and forth. While pacing he looks around the room and swings his arms. Phil stoops pacing for a while and turns toward the counter where his drink is being made. A while later a girl, Kam, comes up to him and they start talking. They talk for a while until Phil finally gets his drink he gets his drink while still talking to Kam. Phil takes sips of his drinks when Kam talks. Phil and Kam linger in front of the counter for a brief moment before walking away. They walk and talk as they leave the room.

Two guys sit at a table in front of me the both have sample sized cups sitting in front of them. One of the guys, Patrick, drinks down the contents of the cup while the other guy, Ron, takes small sips. Patrick seems to do most of the talking while Ron listens. Patrick makes gestures while he talks. Patrick keeps looking down at his phone that in on the table. When there are pauses in the conversation Patrick scrolls through his phone while Ron takes sips of his drink. Ron starts up the conversation again while Patrick listens. A while later Patrick moves his phone slightly toward Ron. Ron picks up Patrick’s phone and looks at whatever is on the screen. Patrick takes his phone back from Ron and sets it down on the table. Patrick then picks up his phone and goes through it for a while. Patrick then shows Ron something on the phone. Their conversation resumes and Patrick takes the lead in the conversation once again.

A while later a man with a Camera walks into the room he walks across the room to a corner. Once in the corner he sets up his camera on the tripod. He waits for a while as the camera takes the video required. Then he walks to another corner of the room and does the same thing, He waits for the camera to take the necessary recording. Camera guy takes the camera then walks out of the room.

A girl, Katherine, sits by herself she has earphones in most likely listening to music. She has her backpack sitting on the table. Katherine is writing in a notebook. Occasionally she looks up and looks at the people that pass by. A few moments later a guy, Kevin, walks up to her and talks to her for a while. Kevin and Katherine stand up a while later and walk over to an area in the room. Once in the area Kevin and Katherine start dancing the Tango. Katherine seems to be instructing him on what to do next. A man in bike helmet watches as they Dance he seems to be confused by their dancing.

Later on when I’m leaving the building I see the camera guy walking back and forth talking video of the outside area. Camera guy then heads back into the building presumably to take more video.
