Gym Time

In a structure that is filled with sweat, metal, and earphones that plus everyone’s ears we all share a common bond, motivation. Motivation to build our muscles and motivation to meet our goals to be physically fit with every exercise that is done.  There is upbeat music playing, different televisions with different stations on, the sound metal being put down, the sound of heavy breathing, and cold air as you walk in that doesn't seem so cold when you leave.

It is five o’clock on Friday, which means that it is busy. More people here means that there are less machines, which tends to irritate everyone (myself included).  There is a variety of people at this busy time. Both males and females of all ages are here. The majority of everyone in the gym is running on the treadmills because that is what the majority of the space consists of.  I see a handful of people not “working out” but just sitting on machines on their phones.

I notice that different genders are sharing a mutual goal. Meaning that they are sharing common exercises and moves. While doing so they also tend (some not all) to show off or boast about how well they are getting their accomplishments done.  What I mean by this is that that once a female would pass a male they would automatically increase their agility. This was not only males, but also females did the same as well when males passed by. On the other hand you could spot the people who were just there for them, not to show off and not for any type of worry to how they may look to others. They are motivated and you can see it with no doubt.
