Halloween Mall Time

With Halloween being celebrated almost everywhere, the El Paso malls are also hosting the festivities.  I decided to go ahead and check it out along with some trick or treating.  While I was walking through the entrance I instantly saw families all around.  Most of the kids were really young ranging around 6 month olds to barely walking children around 4 or 5.  There's a lot of laughing and happy children all around.
I get the feeling parents chose this alternative to make it a safer Halloween for their children.  The kids can actually see with the well-lit mall rather than taking all the risks that are out in a neighborhood trick or treating.  There are families from different ethnicities here.  There is a little boy dressed in a Spiderman costume and he's running around giving other kids candy from his own candy bag.  Most of the times, the kids receiving Spiderman's candy are really thankful and ecstatic.
The parents really seem to be enjoying themselves, as well.  I assume they like to see their children(s) happy, because they seem really jolly no matter where I look.
I see no sad or miserable children tonight.  Everyone seems to be having the time of their life on this day of dressing up.
