A new member in the family

Holding hand, two people walk in with a sad look on their faces. They sit down and talk to each other but did not want to make eye contact. Then man in blue shirt says, “ come on I know we are still stuck on this topic but I don't want a dog living in our apartment!” The girl looks away and places her hand away from his avoiding it. The man again say,” I don't want you to think I hate your dog but I just don't like them and it will ruin our furniture.” Th girl in a pink shirt replies, “ he's just a puppy and he will be in a cage for the whole time.”

Man in blue shirt hesitantly keeps his composure and replies,” he will not be in the cage the whole day and he will try to get on furniture and get on the bed. I don't want him to be on our bed.” Girl in pink shirt replies, “Can't we compromise in any way?” They both give a bit of silence to keep from making a scene as the man offers to buy food and asks what she wants. They both get Taco Bell and eat it with many silent pauses in between. The man in blue shirt starts by saying,” as long as he does not get on any furniture then he can stay but you have to bath him everyday because he stinks sometimes.”

The girl in a pink shirt is ecstatic  but wants to push his limits. She replies, “ Can he sleep with us at night?” The man in blue shirt looks shocked and uncomfortable saying, “ I'm sorry but no. I don't want all his hair on our bed and it will have to be cleaned time and time again. Girl in pink shirt accepts the compromise and states,” I love this idea and I can't wait to bring him and do everything together with you.” They both finish their meals with conversation and begin to get up and walk away going home.
