What's that...........a hat?

It’s a pretty cloudy and rainy day. It seems as if it hit us out of no were. There’s a few people covered with umbrellas and jackets. I noticed plenty of people wearing hats. At first I thought it was because of the rain but then blue hat took his hat off and I got the other side as to why people wear hats. Blue hat had extremely messy hair. Then it got me wondering do people wear hats to cover their messy hair or do they wear them because they like hats, it’s a fashion statement or because it’s cool. I started looking more at those who were wearing hats. Black hat was wearing it as a fashion statement. Then I heard a few people saying that they grabbed it on their way out once they saw how the weather was. Hats can serve multiple purposes if you think about it. That day it just seemed that more people were wearing hats to act as a shield for the crazy weather. Some people were saying that they like to wear hats because they have long hair and wearing a hat helps keep it away from the face. I’ve seen a few people with long hair wear hats but I never stopped to think as to why they did. Nike hat has long hair and she doesn’t sit there and constantly move her hair out of her face like other girls do 70% of the time. That day I learned that hats can keep hair back, hide messy hair, make a fashion statement, make you look cool, protect you from the wind and so much more.
