Day 1 Ambience

The atmosphere...calm, warm and welcoming. For this time of day, it seems to be semi busy for a coffee shop. It could just be that its a college town... probably why the atmosphere feels as it does. With a consistent flow of people coming in for their vice, makes me wonder how much people spend on their designer coffee per year. I think for many its an addiction, for others I wonder if they come in for the atmosphere. With people sitting huddled in groups of two to three; there is the occasional individual sitting there in solitude. You can tell that the individuals sitting there in solitude are there to people watch like myself. I wonder what the commonality is for many of these people to come and congregate at this location. I wonder if it is the designer coffees, or if its the atmosphere. Sitting here its as though everyone around me is glued to some sort of device, the only individual that is to my nine O'clock is sitting in solitude seems to be very shifty. Smart but shifty! He has a book that reminds me of the calculus book that I used to have, and along with his beard, it has me thinking that he may be a graduate student, or PhD student studying Math. This is one of my favorite spots to people watch. There seems to be a larger diversity at this particular location than I find at most coffee locations. With such an ideal location, its no wonder that there is such a diversity of people that seem to be congregating at this location. It seems to be a hub between food, booze, and well a perfect spot for coffee that is ideally close to campus. I wonder if the gorgeous young lady with red hair is seeing the young man sitting next to her. As I pass the gorgeous young lady I cannot help but notice how perfect her hand writing is. I don't think that I have seen such perfect hand writing before. The young woman sitting to my twelve O'clock must have an oral fixation much like my self. The woman to my twelve is sitting there chewing on the coffee stoppers much like I do with everything. The number of women to men is nearly two to one. Everyone that is sitting seems to be engrossed with whatever they have at hand, whether it be a laptop, phone, or the company that is in front of them. The young blond that is sitting to my one O'clock has a laugh that seems to carry across the room in a manner that is almost annoying. I wish she would keep it down.
