Day4 Nail Biting

As I entered the coffee shop the door was held open for me by the most surprising individual. It must have been a young girl that was no older than 10. She wore a very nice dress that was black and white that came up to about her chest. She was quite heavy set for most children her age. But the whole fact that she held the door open for me was most surprising, as I smiled at her and said thank you. As I looked at the pastries the lady at the counter asked me by name what I would like to drink as I made my decision as to what I would like to go along with my coffee. I think that barista is the only one that knows me by name, ha-ha, yet she mistakes me for my best friend half of the time; not that I mind at all. She does a very good job to remember as many names as she does. Its quite impressive given the volume that they see every day. As I sat there eating my blueberry muffin and watching the interaction going on a little boy no older than seven walked by me, and again he caught my attention as he walked past me wearing a green baseball cap and caring a skateboard that must have been bigger than he was along with an orange shirt. The young boy looked up at me and smiled as I winked at him. He looked away, and then looked back at me and I smiled and winked at him again. All the while this is happening there is a group of young woman must be about five of them sitting together at the biggest table in the coffee house sitting and chatting rater loud. As they laugh it sounds like horrible cackling. I’m not quite sure what they are talking about, but two in particular catch my attention. One is chewing on the side of her fingers, it must be an oral fixation, or a nervous habit. But ill go with the latter as she seems to be conversing freely with the others as though she has either known them for a long time, or she is very comfortable with them. The other is fidgeting with her hair as she twirls it around her right index finger. I really wish they would be a bit quieter. A young man walks in with stubble that is well kept. He must be middle eastern by his skin color, hair, and facial features. Most everyone that I have seen that are from the middle east seam to grow a much similar beard, at least in the manner that it is really thick. What I find most prominent about him is the limp that he walks in with on his left leg. As he walks he shifts his weight to his better foot; either from a recent injury or a pre existing injury. The Drink he orders is a Frappuccino that looks to be maybe vanilla on the bottom with chocolate on the top along with whip cream. He is wearing jean and sandals. His limp causes him to drag his left foot instead of just a hobble. There is a couple that has come in that is most interesting as they are both wearing horizontally striped shirts that are nearly identical in color. This couple must be close to middle age; the male is clearly older than the woman and must weigh about a third more than the young woman. He is not fat but he definitely has put on some weight giving indication of being able to eat consistently. The woman on the other hand is very thin; not anorexic thin. But seeing her has me looking up anorexia on my phone to familiarize my self with what it is once more. Her shirt is striped like her partner’s shirt, but more of an off color, and considerably shorter than her partners. Come to think about it, there is a local that is always at this coffee shop that wears an incredibly short cut shirt along with what look to be uncomfortably low cut shorts for most of todays society. I have no idea how anyone can find wearing shirts or shorts that are that low cut to be so comfortable.
