Football Sunday

My field site was pretty crowded on this past Sunday afternoon and it was great because I got to see all the people that came in to watch the football games. Football Sunday is probably my favorite day of the week because I can relax and watch football and see everyone get filled with all kinds of emotions while their favorite team is playing. As soon as I sat down at the table the hostess brought us to, I realized I had the perfect view of this odd looking family. I don't think the parents said more than two words the whole time I was there which made for an awkward situation for them. The kids on the other hand couldn't find the time to stop talking. I'm positive that the only time they were not talking was when they were taking a bite of their food. The older boy had long hair and his ball cap on sideways and had his whole conversation about girls. The funny thing was was that he was probably 11 years old and he had his ears pierced and the best part was that the piercings were really off. Both of his earrings were not even close to being centered and he most likely got them pierced at Walmart.
From where I was sitting I was not close enough to hear what all the grown men were talking about but I was sure able to see all of their reactions to every play that was happening for the Texans vs Dolphins game. I don't really care for either of those teams but there were some guys that were really getting heated about this game. One guy had probably just finished drinking three beers and went crazy once he realized that Houston was going to lose. Another guy that was near me this past Sunday was another football fan like me. Staring at the tv the whole time and would only look away during a commercial or when he wanted his food. The only thing odd about this guy is that he would not stop eating. He probably ate 3 different meals with different sides and many refills of his drink. I guess if I was alone and spending my Sunday watching football games I wouldn't stop eating either. I'm giving props to that guy for the whole time I was at my field site.
