Laughters and Laptops

                The idea of lunch and homework always seems to be the option for students, but today especially as I am seeing more laptops than I usually do.

                In front of me there are four people, three guys and one girl. Guy one is wearing a white hat and a white t-shirt, Guy two is wearing a blue and grey baseball tee, guy three is wearing a blue snapback and a back sweatshirt, and the girl is wearing a red cap and a black tank top. One and Three both have their laptop out. One is doing his homework, but Three is going through his Netflix. Two is playing with his lanyard making little contact with the others. One begins to talk and Two is listening making conversation. This has caused One to stop doing his work. Hone also seems to be tired as he starts yawning. One also then changes his body language as he turns his body slightly to face Two and then the conversation continues. Girl got up to get her drink and comes back to the table. Once she takes a few sips, One asks for some of it and drinks it and gives it back. One begins to talk to Girl while girl is on her phone going through social media. Then girl offers two the drink as well and he drinks it. Girl is still going through social media and shows one a picture. When he sees the picture he begins to yell as if he is in shock over the picture he just saw. Slowly it becomes a group conversation as everyone starts speaking over a topic. One ends up leaving the table, looking around as he gets up. Two is getting talked to by girl and begins to play with his lanyard again, then silence arouse. One comes back with a snack which he eats a few of then puts it in his bag. The conversations then slowly began to pick up around the group. Two and Three have side conversations as One goes back to his work. The conversation again slowly begins to flow again as one says something funny. As the conversation was going a guy in a grey shirt and a blue backpack approaches them and pats One’s head and goes around the table to say hello to everyone. One pulls outs his snack again and offers it to two and they both begin to eat as Blue begins to talk. Two licks his fingers after eating and says hi to someone as they walk by.

                The couple from last week seems to have a schedule as I see them again eating lunch together. They have gotten their food from the same place as they did before as well. Blonde is laughing and Glasses seems to find laughter from his story as he begins to giggle between words that he says. The girl begins to talk and the guy is smiling, rubbing his thigh. They seem to be finished with their food as they sip on their coffee. The girl is positioned facing glasses, and she stays looking at him as that is a sign of listening when he is talking. A lot of laughter is heard from their conversation and there is very little body motion except when they throw their head back laughing. Their phones don’t seem to be such a distraction as it is left on the table and none of them are on them. The girl begins to talk and conversation begins less laughter as glasses changes his facial expression and also begins to daze off. Blonde begins to stretch and glasses looks at his coffee cup. But after a while the conversation arises again.

                There is a lot of background noise wherever you are, but today especially there was a lot. There wasn’t a lot of conversation from others outside a group.
