Mall Time

I decided to stay and sit down on a bench at the International Mall during my hour long break in between classes and observe the passing crowds.  There is a nice little cloud over me so I'm enjoying the cool and breezy shade.  Everyone that is passing seems rushed.  Little to no contact is made between people except the few fraternity pals saying "What's up!" to each other.  I do notice other people taking a rest from this semester and sitting down on other benches to relax.  It's nice that when two people do make contact it usually sparks a smile amongst of them.  I have seen it a few times the last 30 seconds or so.  A guy in a blue shirt and regular pants was walking towards the Hall of Xyience and on his way there almost bumped with a dress-wearing lady.  That was the only near accident, so far.  Others have just made eye contact and shared a smile among each other.

A guy was just riding his neon yellow skateboard and he went over this little hilly bump and fell.  I took advantage of this moment and waited to see how the walking dead... I mean crowd reacted to his fall.  There was a few people trying to hide their laughter, but putting their hands to their mouths only made it more obvious.  There were two guys who went up to him to ask Falls if he was okay.  From the looks of it, he is fine.  Got back onto his board and continued skating away.  I guess it is the next season already.

Well, now that my dark wish has been fulfilled, I don't know what to expect of this day anymore.
Only kidding.  There is a campus service cart driving by and there is a student with headphones on that doesn't notice it's right behind him.  Honking isn't even working.  Thank God his destination took a sharp left turn.  I'm sure the driver of the cart would've suffered a little.  Occasionally, there'll be a group of friends walking, but as of right now it seems rare.  I thought there'd be more.  Huh.

I realized that this school has no problems internally.  No hatred towards others from pure first look.  Only if you cause a problem, then there'd be some bad stuff happening.  But other than that, it seems like a safe and calm environment.
