What a Night

   I walked into Stack's on a Saturday night it was close to midnight, and i was greeted by a waiter. He was white, mid to late twenties, with a pony-tail and a goatee.. He showed me to my table and got me a coffee. I noticed there were two large groups of people. One had  large boys with athletic build and prepy girls who also had athletic builds. The other group seemed to be made up of mostly Hispanic boys and girls, with a few white girls.  Both groups were well dressed the boys had button down shirts and the girls had dresses a few of the boys and girls even matched . I assumed they had just gotten out of a high school dance.
     But the group that interested me was  of four sitting together on one side of a booth. There were two African american girls, one Hispanic boy, and a White boy. The younger girl, Jennifer was slouched on the booth with a distant yet tired look on her face. Then she said "What the hell, why did the waiter give me a dirty look for saying we had four more people coming? It just means more business for them!" The white boy, Chris laughed said, "Ya, but think about its like crazy late if you worked this job would you wanna have to deal with a bunch of trashed highschoolers, and what are they gonna do if they run out of tables just go cut down some trees and make more?" The other girl Sarah pulled out her phone and said, " Hey guys, i just got a text from peter and Christo. They said Christo had to be home twelve." The Jennifer stated, " I haven't even gotten a text back from Victoria so i don't even know if she's coming." Changing the subject Chris said while pulling out his phone, "Hey Sarah since your phones already out you should add me on snapchat." After getting her snapchat Chris then exclaimed, "fire!"
      The waiter showed up and asked for everyone's orders. Jennifer asked, "Can  i have a plain waffle?" The waiter, Bill followed up with, "Do you want the combo that comes with the waffle?" "Are you listening i just wanted a waffle!" Anthony said, "Sorry, about her and i don't want anything." "I don't want anything either" stated Chris. Sarah exclaimed, " The strawberry crepes are to die for! I want those." The waiter then asked if that was all and left to get their food. Anthony then stated matter of factually, "I've been here a lot,  but I've never had the crepes." "WHAT? You have to try some of mine they're amazing, you to Chris!" exclaimed Sarah. Chris said, "Okay okay don't have a heart-attack until after you eat the sugary food." Jennifer looking half dead said, "I don't care I just know if that waiter doesn't come with my waffle soon someone's gonna lose their head." Before long the waiter did show up and Anthony asked him about his tie. He responded by saying, "Thanks for noticing this is a cafe knot you have a good eye." "It's so much classier than a half Windsor knot." Anthony said while pointed a Chris's tie. "At least im wearing a tie!" Sarah said, "Can we get a check please Jennifer is half asleep." After they payed they all left while Jennifer asked Sarah if she could sleep in the back.
