Finally getting to sit down and relax after a busy afternoon in classes, I find myself ordering a coffee and setting up to observe those around me.
It is considerably less busy then when I normally come here, even the baristas are standing around chatting amongst themselves and only getting to make a drink every so often.
A group of three men have walked in and have ordered different coffees. They grab their drinks when the barista puts in on the table and walk over to a counter where all of the sugars and caps and such are placed. Out of the three men, two of them are much older looking and one looks to be about 15 years old. The older men are having a conversation about different types of statisitcs, one of the men with curly hair talks about the difference between people in the south and people in the north of America. The boy has not said a word and stirs sugar into his coffee.
A man with short brown hair and a woman with blonde hair are debating the best way to hand up a banner over the main walkway. Two more employees come over and join the debate, each one is putting in their own ideas as to how to put it up. eventually after many minutes of debating back and forth two men decide to just climb a latter and use tacks to hang up the banner.
A blonde woman who works here and her friend and taking to each other about how the blonde woman, named Melissa, has just graduated college. Melissa tells her friend that she thinks that it is so strange to be considered alumni than being considered a student.
The girls who come in here to do a bible study are here again, all of them have something different to drink and are focuses on the passage that they have to read.
Overall my time here was well spent. It remained pretty empty the entire time I was here, every so often someone walked in only to get a coffee and then walked back outside. It is a pretty un eventful Monday, I stand up and put my things away, throw my empty coffee cup in the trash and make my way outside.
