No homework, no problem

The lunch hours have become quieter, having less and less people every week. However, there is always a diverse group around with new people I have not seen before but also the same two groups I always see are here.

The chemistry group is here but the guy doesn’t seem to have any chemistry lab stuff to do today and he’s enjoying his lunch without having to eat it with a pencil in hand. The guy is on his phone and the girl with the braid next to him starts to yell about changing her password to six numbers. The girl across from braids has a gray jacket on. She’s the only one doing her homework. As she writes, glasses is on her phone. Glasses is now talking to braids and Chem, chem is leaned forward listening and nodding to what glasses had to say. Chem says something and that made glasses laugh really loud as that is the only noise I can hear. Glasses yawns and as she does so she covers her mouth but then Chem shows her a something off his phone. Braids see the picture and then starts yelling again as if she doesn’t have inside voices. Gray looks up occasionally but focuses on her assignment. She goes to reach for her backpack and takes out a calculator. Braids then goes back to doing her homework as well but seems to be distracted easily as she goes from writing a few words to looking back up to converse with the others. Chem puts in headphones into his phone to show glasses a video, having a smile on his face as he knows what’s going to happen throughout the video. Braids begins to talk and it causes laughter to arise at the table. Gray looks up and since she is not doing her homework she begins to bite on her pencil which may be a habit. While scrolling through his phone, Chem has a look of joy as if he’s seeing a lot of funny things on social media. He’s showing braids something and she laughs really loudly. Braids then goes back to doing her homework and Chem shows glasses the video and she ends up laughing really loud. Tossing the headphones at gray jacket, she stops what she’s doing to watch the video as well. Her laughter wasn’t as loud as the others. Two of them end of leaving, which gives the other two a less of a distraction when it comes to doing homework.

Diagonally across from the chemistry group is four guys; two with laptops. One is in a homecoming shirt, the other has headphones in, a guy in red, and a guy in black. Red is eating a sandwich listening to stories around him as if he doesn’t have anything to do since it lunch time. Headphones is typing while he talks but still seems to be engaged in the conversation. Headphones takes out his phone to plug his headphones into his phone instead. Red offers homecoming half a sandwich and they still end up conversing. Although homecoming has his laptop out, he doesn’t seem to be doing anything that important. Headphones begins to talk and as he does so his eyebrows raise with every emphasis on his words and when Red talks, he talks with a lot of hand gestures. Red has had his hands on the table the whole time. Black and homecoming begin to gather their things to probably leave for class. Black finishes red’s sandwich for him. A few minutes later, Red does the same things as he begins to gather his things. A guy in a dinosaur shirt comes over to the table to greet both headphones and red with a handshake and the leaves the area. Red leaves shortly after leaving headphones at the table by himself.

The area slowly becomes clear of people as there are less and less people appearing but more and more leaving, which is when I begin to leave as well.
