Owls of Cruces

The first weekend of October; this month we are introduced to crafted beer, Oktoberfest, and most important Halloween. I am positive this month will bring out the most particular individuals. I choose Sunday for field notes and I have a sibling to observe with because she is social; talks with the person next to her, she is highly knowledgeable with sports (NFL, NBA, etc), and music. Why not use her social skills, good food, and homework all in one night. We begun by entering the restaurant and of course staff were wearing football jerseys. We entered this establishment on a Cowboys game day; nothing but blue and white jerseys. Immediately we found seating at the bar just enough for 2 people. I looked around the bar and could see people were "you know" feeling pretty good at this time. I waited for my sister to talk with someone, because that's her. Sure enough she began talking with a guy probably late twenties. He had asked what kind of beer she was drinking and she said, "Guinness." Not bashing anyone but I looked around and I could see that people at the bar were drinking light beers. We were the only two with dark beers (IPA's). The conversation continued and they began talking about football and long debates about the Cowboys. This debate ended when the Cowboys lost the game, an upset to most the the people in the establishment. Could hear "next time!" "good game!"...
