Busy Bees

Today there was more people than I expected there to be. Since I was sitting by myself, two girls who were a part of a sorority approached me and asked if I wanted to sit with them, but I couldn’t observe while getting to know new people. So I declined. But there were three tables that caught my attention.

In front of me was a guy with medium length hair, at first I mistaken him as a girl because I only saw the back of him and saw the hair length. He was wearing a dark grey shirt and was sitting in his seat with a big box of taco bell. He wasn’t eating although he had food left in the box. He kept looking up as if he was waiting for someone. He adjusted his chair and kicked his feet up on another chair, lounging for a bit before he went to pull out his phone. Ten minutes passed before he went to eating what he had left of his taco bell. I also noticed towards the end of observing him that he had two empty drink cups.

To the left of me, there were three guys; pink shirt, blue shirt, and glasses. There was also a girl who had dirty blonde hair. The three guys started off messing around with their phone but still holding a conversation with the girl. Then pink shirt begins to show the group the new iOS update that came out last week and started to show the girl the pictures he had on his phone. Blue shirt was staring at the two when it was happening. The other two guys started conversing. There seemed to be more than one conversation going on among there group even though it was a small group. The girl then reaches over and touches pink shirt’s shoulder and continues talking.

Finally there was a guy with a black shirt and headphones. He ended up staying only for about five minutes but as soon as he walked I noticed him tapping his feet. I thought he was going to get ready to study as he was opening his backpack. He stayed standing up the whole time and put on his jacket. At this point he was still swaying and tapping to the beat of the music. As he was walking away after packing his stuff, he left within five minutes, singing and tapping away.
