The Day Was Slow

The sitting area is small but most of the seats are taken. People walk in and out of the sitting area. Most sitting then proceeding to talk quietly to each other. Others walk around and past the sitting area also talking quietly to each other.

Two girls, Rebbecca and Ally, are walking past the sitting area. Both girls have drinks in their hands. They are quietly talking to each other walking toward the end of the sitting room which is an exit. From behind i hear the uneven sound of flip flops hitting the floor. Three girls run up to Rebbecca and Ally jumping on them to give them a hug. Rebbecca and Ally don't seem to have been expecting it.  Rebbecca and Ally start talking to the other three girls for a while. Then they take of toward the exit.

An old couple comes into the sitting area. The women,Betty, has a walker. The man,Bret, has a cane in his hand. They slowly make their way to an empty bench across from me. They sit for a while in silence observing the people passing around the sitting area. Then they start speaking to each other leaning in closely to make sure they will not be overheard. Then they start standing it takes them a while to stand completely. Betty and Bret then slowly start moving out of the sitting area.

A man and women sit in the sitting area. The man,Clyde, and the women, Wanda, have been sitting in this area for as long as i have. They rarely talk to each other and only observe the people that walk around the sitting area. They sit still only their feet shifting when they have been in a sitting position for to long. Wanda makes the more drastic movements laying her head on Clyde's shoulder or rubbing Clyde's neck. Overall they seem to just be taking in their surroundings.
