A hard day to people watch

Just a normal day. All the people are getting their drinks and sitting down with their laptops and notebooks and such a variety of texts books. Some people put their headphones in to tune out the rest of the crowd, and some of them choose to listen to the bustle of the Creamy Coffee Shop. This day brings things that are a little new in my sit downs. An actual date. It makes sense that this is happening because this is a little later than my usual trips to the Shop. The boy is exponentially taller than the girl, but they both seem nervous and timid, how you would think a first date is. At least I think it's a first date... watching from a distance doesn't give you a lot of background information on their lives. While they are having their date there is a boy sitting two tables away playing world of warcraft or some type of game like that. It is pretty entertaining to watch due to the fact that the is getting pretty into the game.

The other people that are here at the Coffee Shop, are doing pretty much what I am doing. Working on homework, fully immersed in their laptops or their textbooks or just reading. It is weirdly comforting to see so many people focused on their schoolwork. Even though walking past them, most of them see to e spending more time on Facebook, Pinterest, or a number of different social networks. A group of girls just sat down after getting their drinks they are laughing about how wrong the people got their names for their drinks. I guess you see that a lot, or it happens a lot, at least for me it does. They weren't even close to getting my name right today.

Ooh another couple just walked in, they have obviously been dating for awhile now except something seems a little off with their demeanor. They are still holding hands but the vibe that they are bringing in isn't the greatest. They get in line and seem to be making small talk while waiting to order. They order and take the table right across from me, which makes it easy for me to watch them but also makes it clear that I am openly staring. They are having small talk now, the guy grabs the girl hands and they are talking very seriously to eachother. Oh gosh, I don't think I want to write about this anymore. The girl is crying, but not terribly loud, the guy looks sad too. They seem to be finishing their conversation, the girl stands up grabs her drink and walks out. The guy puts his head into his hands. I think that I have just watched a break up. A very civil, kind breakup but a breakup nonetheless... I think that ends my time here at the Creamy Coffee Shop today.
