Changing

The day is clear of clouds. The area is littered with only a few people. Teenagers pass by talking about one person or another. The tables around me sit mostly empty. Only a few are being occupied.  One of the few is occupied by a boy, Ed, he sits by himself at a table. He keeps looking around searching for his companion to join him.The boy has on a backward cap and is wearing a soccer shirt. Ed has his phone in his hand but is still looking around. He seems to be contemplating if he should call whoever hes waiting for. At his feet Ed has four shopping bags. They all seem to be shopping bags from womens stores. In the end Ed seems to be tiered of waiting so he stands and grabs the four bags that lay at his feet. Ed then heads toward the exit leaving my sight.

On the edges of the area there are rounded seats that you can comfortably sit in. A family sits on one of these seats. There are 3 kids and one parent. Theres an older girl, Elle, who looks to be around 10 she wears a dress with yoga pants underneath. A young boy,Ben, who seems to be 8 he wears regular clothes but his shoes seems to be to small for his feet. And a little girl, Beth, who seems to be 2 wears regular clothing. Elle and Ben sit on the edge of the rounded seat while Beth stands in the middle. The parent, kyle, also sits on the edge of the seat but is observing Beth. Kyle reaches over to a stroller that is parked next to him getting a dipper and a small case of baby wipes. Then he grabs beth and lays her down on the seat. Elle and Ben don't seems to be paying attention to what is going on behind them. Ben has a small bag hanging from his wrist. Ben reaches into the bag pulling out a pack of batteries. Ben stands and starts talking to Elle explaining something about the batteries. They are speaking a language i do not understand and Ben is moving his hands rapidly. Kyle seems to finish changing Beth's diaper. He signals to the others kids that its time to go as he places Beth in the stroller. The dad pushes the stroller toward the exit and the children run behind him they seem excited to be leaving the area.
