Owls of Cruces

As I walked into Owlers I cannot seem to notice it was dead. There were hardly anyone sitting in my view. As I walked to get seated I did see one guy in particular. To bad it wasn't the guy I saw on my last entry (firefighter). He was alone and drinking what seemed to be ice tea. I sat adjacent to him where I could see what he was doing. He looked at his phone every five minutes or so and looking at the TV screen. There was nothing showing but an old soccer game. I ordered the usual to satisfy my craving. Twenty minutes passed and I have been served by Roberta; nice person but is getting off her shift. While Roberta left I was introduced to my new server Becca. Happy Hour began forty five minutes later. Packs of people filled the bar and booths ordering the beer specials. Everyone is celebrating the weekend and also talking about Sunday Night Football. I was introduced into a conversation about the Cowboys VS Eagles and who would take the win. This discussion was with an older couple, say in their early 50's. They were very energetic, happy, and not afraid to express their love for one another. It's time to leave. I left the happy couple and in all hopes the Cowboys would win too!
