Today a couple of friends and myself decided to treat ourselves at the local field of work. The atmosphere was bright and light and cheery. Everyone seemed to be in high spirits, for some unknown reason. It was a balmy day, with the sun shining brightly.
I observed several people ordering in line. There was a tall woman of about 30, or later twenties. She was blonde and had very striking blue eyes, she wore her blonde hair in a lowered ponytail, and wore a black t-shirt with loose fitting bootcut jeans and some birkenstock sandals, I could tell she was more of the earthy type. She ordered a tea of sorts and once her order was finished, she grabbed the tea and walked out of the building.
I saw a man behind her a tad stout and short limbed. He had a receding hairline, but looked to be of his later thirties or early fourties of sorts. He had a black business suit on and glasses sitting on the tip of his nose. He ordered a traditional coffee, grabbed it then headed to a nearby table to finish up some office work of sorts.
My glance peered over to another table of two young ladies sitting across from one another who both seemed to be very engaged in a deep conversation. They were both wearing tall boots with jeans and long sleeves, which was surprising to me, as the weather outside was quite warm. But, they seemed to be in the October spirit as they both also had, what looked like pumpkin spice teas.
I observe my two friends across from me. I notice they are both of different ethnicities, one caucasian, another hispanic. They are both wearing cotton tops with jeans and sneakers. They are very enthusiastic as we talk about whatever topic we were discussing prior.
I notice a tall teen of hispanic descent, walk in. He is wearing a white t-shirt and his pants are black. He is wearing skater shoes and his hair is slicked to the side. He sits at a nearby table and whips out his phone almost immediately. He pulls out some headphones and begins listening to some tunes as he also, pulls out his laptop and begins to type on it fervidly.
My friends and I continue discussing frivilous matters. Then finish our drinks. We stay for a tad bit longer.
I see a young man and a friend of his walk by to the counter and order some smoothies. They grab them, then briskly walk out of the vicinity.
Soon, my friends and I grow bored, then head off to our classes.
