Coffee Crazed pt 8

Week 8
A group of men, all well groomed and in what looked like brand new suits and shoes walked in the shop and ordered some drinks. They discussed the stock market and how they were investing this year. It was sort of obnoxious as each bragged about the newest toy he had bought. One of the men eagerly showed his companions his new Rolex watch and as they all bragged and laughed I saw one of the employees look in in disgust.
There were some Halloween decorations in the shop, getting ready for the holiday. A group of teenage girls walked in and after being seated I could hear them discussing the crazy Halloween party last night. I even had some prior knowledge of the party because some friends of mine had gone. They talked about who looked good and who didn’t, and I heard them talk about how some people had gotten fake blood dumped on them and they laughed, however when they mentioned someone who must have been a friend, who had the fake blood dumped on them they seemed to get upset. They talked about how drunk everybody at the party got.
A single father with his young daughter was drinking coffee and hot chocolate, respectively, and he was telling her a story as they sat on the couch in the shop. People walking by or sitting near them couldn’t help but smile as the man made noises and faces just to make his young daughter smile.
Red was behind the counter and she seemed to be in a very good mood, smiling and laughing with the other employees.
An extremely tall man walked into the shop and ordered two drinks. A young boy who was with his mother couldn’t help but look up and stare at the gigantic man. He started talking to his mom about how tall the man was and the man looked over and smiled, he crouched down and said he used to be as small as the young boy but he grew up to be tall because he listened to his mother. The mom smiled at the man and the boy was excited that the tall man had noticed him. The man got his drinks and sat down at the table next to me and gulped both of them down extremely quickly.

It seemed I was the only student in the shop today. I saw one young girl on her laptop but she was just looking at her Facebook.
