Dance Away

There is a white NMSU truck parked at the grass by the Duck Pond. An NMSU worker is picking up pieces of trash on the ground. He is alone and it is almost time for the work day to end.

There is a guy, Riley, at a table who keeps yelling “Get up boy” loud enough for almost everyone to hear. He repeats this about three times before settling down. He is sitting with two other people a guy and a girl, Stanley and Tracy, who seem to be about twenty-two years old.  Later on a couple, Uriel and Vanessa, walk behind me and around towards their table. Uriel yells out “Get up boy” when they get close and Riley answers back by yelling the same. I’m not sure what they are trying to say but it gets annoying.

There is man, Walter, sitting by the bridge fishing.  This is the first time I’ve ever seen him here.

The group of yellers at the table later starts playing music. Riley starts dancing by himself for a few minutes. A few minutes later Vanessa joins him and starts dancing as well.

There is a girl, Yvonne, sitting by the water on the edge of the grass with a cat. She sits on the ground just petting the sitting cat next to her.

The pair of dancers soon stops dancing and they just sit at their table listening to music.

A young man, Zach, is walking around the pond smoking a cigarette and walking a dog. As they walk by Yvonne the dog begins to bark loudly at the cat. The cat moves a few yards further away and it seems like Zach is having a hard time holding back the large dog. Zach soon gets things under control and I can see him say a few words to Yvonne before leaving. I believe he might have been apologizing to her.

An older woman, Aurora, and two kids, Brandon and Clyde, are walking up International mall towards the duck pond. They continue their walk around the duck pond and head straight back in the direction they came. The two kids seems to be more interested and poking each other with sticks than the environment around them.
