For Here Or To Go?

This building smells of many great food aromas. There are products of all sorts that can be purchased to be taken home or bought and consumed in the store. The meat, fruit, vegetable and packaged food departments have nearly everything a buyer would want. The diversity is impressive here. Families and individuals of all ages walk the isles loading their shopping carts to the brim. I notice a handful of people sit at the tables provided and eat a meal.

I see a family go to the meat department. The Party of Four observes the selection for a few minutes and picks out some cuts of steak and some ground beef. The father of the group approaches the butcher and consults with him about some items behind the glass. The man chooses some sandwich deli cuts and moves on with his family down the bread isle.

A woman walking quite briskly heads to the fresh vegetable area. She looks around for some specific items on a list and gathers them quickly. Miss Energy then leaves the area to go checkout at the front of the store. She pays and exits in just moments.

The individuals who were eating at the tables have now gotten up and left. Some new customers approach the hot food counters to pick up something to eat there. I notice that most of the people get either Mexican or fried food. These people are mostly of an older age as well. The consumers seem to just enter, eat, and exit right after.

Two men walk next to each other talking. They are both pushing a shopping cart and they decide on how to split up the grocery list. The Party Preps head separate directions and begin filling their carts with packaged foods, canned goods, and beverages. They look like they are buying party necessities for possibly an engagement later that day. When the Party Preps finish their round through the isles they meet at the checkout to pay and leave with multiple bags.

All the people who were at the tables eating have now left. Some employees begin to sweep the floor and wipe the tables down while they have the down time. The cooks at the food counters wipe down the work tops and clean the grills.

My eyes catch an older couple walking in through the stores front entrance. The Gray Hairs slowly make their way to the refrigerated food area. After a while the couple moves to the bread and meat area of the store. The Gray Hairs do not have a cart; the man holds two or three items in his hands. They pay and leave after a short look through the isles at the checkout.

Less people are entering the store. It may be the down part of the day now. The employees cleaning at the hot and ready food section have wrapped up the job and have gone back through the employee doors. I find this place very casual and inviting during my visit.
