chicken or turkey twins

It is a quit morning at the coffee shop, with country oldies playing over the radio this time. There are not to many people here a couple tables inside and a couple outside. I decide to sit inside and wait a little while to see if the place picks up. I order some breakfast and a chi and sit at a table in the middle of the shop. The place starts to pick up a little with customers coming in to order food and to also look at the many gifts the shop has on display.

Two elder men come in both wearing shorts and t shirts; saying chicken or turkey, over and over again. They both order a cup of coffee and water and find a place to sit down. While they bring their forks and rubber ducky to the table I see that they also ordered food. The one in the yellow shirt sits down and starts to organize their table with their cups, books, and tablets. The other man in the striped shirt is not in the shop anymore and neither the man he was with nor I know where he went. As the man in the yellow shirt sits and waits for the striped shirt after looking around for him he shows up from outside.

They sit at the table and yellow shirt asks striped shirt were he went, with an answer from the striped shirt, he forgot to lock the truck. They get comfortable and turn on their tablets, then yellow shirt gets up and goes to the back leaving striped shirt alone for a while. There is a huge pile of books and spirals in the chair that sits next to them. While yellow shirt reads the paper and striped shirt texts they talk about the crossword in the paper. Their food arrives and they ordered the same sandwich as well, they share the same reaction when the man puts the food on the table. It is hard to tell if these two are brothers or just really close friends.

They talk alike, dress alike, eat alike, both wear glasses, but they do not look alike, they even argue like they are related. As they sit there and eat they read article about movies and Keanu Reeves come back as an actor in some new movie that is supposed to be a sequel. They sit and enjoy their meal while singing to the oldies over the radio.  Striped shirt contently plays on his tablet while yellow shirt reads the paper and eats his meal.

They get quite while they finish eating and reading articles on their tablets. I leave the two men that might as well be that same person at the coffee shop discussing movie reviews and drinking their coffee while I pack my things and leave for my day.
