Meal Time Activities

This week I went to the Pond and it was very slow there  during my visit.  There were only 8 individuals and one group of four this time.  One thing I noticed right away was there was only one male (aside from me) and he was in the group of four studying.  He and the three females he was with had paperwork and a laptop on the desk with them along with their food.  He was wearing a t-shirt and jeans with a baseball cap on and was using his phone nearly the whole time he was there.  One of the females in this group was wearing a t-shirt and shorts and was the one on the laptop for the majority of her time there although she was using her phone frequently.  The other females were both wearing jeans and t-shirts.  After about 15 minutes, one of these two got a phone call and left and the other left about 10 minutes later, leaving the male and the female on the laptop.
The first individual female was wearing shorts, a t-shirt, a light jacket and a baseball cap.  She was on her phone for about 10 minutes and then laid down on the bench and started napping.  She got up after about 30 minutes and started talking on her phone again.  She left a couple minutes after she got on the phone.  The second individual was sitting on the benches writing in a notebook and shifting her attention between that, a paper she had in her lap, and her phone.  She looked like she was studying and using the phone to look things up.  She was soon joined by the third female, who was wearing a tank top and shorts, and she only stopped by for a couple minutes before going to another table and sitting down.  She then got out a notebook and started using her phone to look things up. The fourth female was sitting near the third although they did not interact with each other.  She was wearing jeans and a long-sleeved shirt and was reading under a tree.
The fifth female showed up after about 15 minutes and was mainly concentrating on eating although she had her headphones in and did check her phone a few times.  She was wearing jeans and a t-shirt and she left shortly after she was done eating around 20 minutes later.  The sixth individual showed up after I had been there for about 30 minutes.  She sat down with her food at one of the tables and was watching something on her phone with headphones in although it also looked like she was typing on it frequently.  She was wearing a tank top and jacket with jeans and was still sitting there when I left.  The seventh female got off the bus nearby and sat at one of the benches about 10 minutes later and started getting her books out to do homework.  She was soon joined by another individual from inside the building and they started quietly chatting and studying together.  The one from the bus had on jeans and a t-shirt and the other had khaki short pants and a button-down shirt.  They were still studying when I left around 10 minutes later.
