The Important Prayers

Its Sunday morning and all of the Catholic church goers spill into the sanctuary and fill in the seats of the pews. The children sit in between their parents and lovers sit next to one another, hand in hand. The alter children slowly walk down the aisle with the staffs in their hands, followed by the pastor holding his bible tight. Once they reach the stage, the service begins.

Today's message is somewhat of a continuation of last weeks sermon. I explained to you how I learned, what I feel is just about everything, there is to know about the Rosary. Today, we learned what all of the specific prayers required to know for the Rosary mean.

The main prayer out of all the prayers I mentioned in last weeks post is the Hail Mary Prayer. The meaning of this prayer is very  simple. It is us asking for Mary to pray for us. This prayer all in all brings us closer to Jesus. Mary after all is the father of Jesus and she deserves this honor. She deserves the honor to have people daily ask her to pray for them. \

Another important prayer in the catholic religion is the Our Father Prayer. It is said to be the best of all prayers of the Catholic religion. This is the Lords prayer that was taught by the one and only himself. It is said to be to most selfless and perfect prayer of all time. This prayer says that we should wholly offer ourselves to the Lord just as we are and he will accept us no matter what. This prayer really expresses what a truly amazing person the lord was.

Lastly I want inform you of the Glory Be Prayer. This prayer is more of a reassurance prayer to let on know that the Lord will always be there and he will never change. His morals will never change, his acceptance of one will never change, and his faith and trust in you will never fail. I found the message of the sermon to be very powerful in letting us know how prayers deeply connect us to Jesus and he father, God.
