Football Sunday

It is Football Sunday, October 26, 2014; and my neighbors are watching the games that play throughout the day. The main people that I’ve observed is a Hispanic male whom is 20 years old, we will call him Dos Locos. There was an African American Male whom was about 25 years old; his name was Colt. There was another Hispanic female as well, she was about 23 years old, and her name is Salty.

            When Colt and Dos Locos arrived to Saltys house they just returned from church. The time was 11:00 A.M. and Salty was making breakfast. Both Colt and Dos Locos opened up with small talk, asking how her day was going and wanted to know if she needed help with anything. She replied no, therefore they just continued watching the football games. Apparently Dos Locos team, and Colts team were playing each other at 2:30 P.M. so they went off on each other smack talking. Colt said “your Steelers are going to lose so bad to the colts today it’s not even funny, as a matter of fact lets bet $5.00 because I guarantee that they will lose”.  Dos Locos replied with “Heck no that’s what you wish I will be more than happy to bet you the money because I know that your Colts are going down”. Salty had been mad at Dos Locos for something that he did last night involving a female, so of course she was on Colts side.

            Salty continued making breakfast and served both men; they both said in unison “Thank You So Much!!!” She responded with no problem. She would however make fun of Dos Locos with Colt saying things like “You can’t sit on my furniture” or saying that his team really sucks and they’ll will lose the game for sure. Dos Locos kept asking her what was wrong. Her response was the same every time, “You Already know what’s wrong, why, you forget these walls are paper thin, and I can hear everything”. Dos Locos looked at her with worry and said in a concerned voice “OHHH!!” Finally the time arrived for the game to start.

            Within the first quarter Dos Locos team was leading by 15 points. He kept cheering and screaming at the top of his lungs. He rubbed it in Colts face saying that his team sucks, that’s why they are losing. Colt replied with “Chill Bruh it’s only the first quarter of the game, my team always comes back, just watch”. Halftime came around and you can tell since the Indianapolis Colts were losing that tensions inside the house were extremely high. So both Dos Locos and Colts Stayed quiet throughout the game while the Steelers remained in the lead for points. Salty broke the tensions real quick however constantly throwing things at Dos Locos, and calling him names. All people in the house would laugh at the jokes because they were all just joking around with one another. After the Steelers game Dos Locos continued to brag in front of Colts face. He said “Ha see I told you we would win, you better have my money soon”. Of course Dos Locos was joking around. However after the game everyone left and went home.
