An older woman, presumably the mother, and a younger woman- the daughter- had come in with other family members to be shown around. Mother was very adamant about how great her time in college was.
Mother did not seem very perceptive of what Daughter was thinking. Dad was more quiet and seemed submissive of Mother. Dad did, however, talk freely about his time in college and the blast he had. Daughter had male with her who clung close, presumably the Boyfriend.
There was also a tiny human in a stroller, we will call him Babe.
Mother, Dad, Daughter and Boyfriend did not ever seem to all interact at once.
Daughter mainly interacted with Boyfriend in asides and made quick eccedentesiast type expressions at Mother's open thoughts. Boyfriend did not interact with anyone besides Daughter.
Dad interacted with Mother, to ask her thoughts- what she liked about the visit, what she wanted to eat, and what to do with Babe at certain times. Mother interacted openly with all, voicing her thoughts about the school and flourishing excitement.
Babe would be left alone when family was wondering nearby, somewhat gawking, at what the school offered. Mother asked the most questions, and then relayed the information to Daughter in question form of approval. Daughter seemed flippant or indifferent.
It seemed that Mother and Daughter were not on the same page; Mother very much wanted Daughter to attend Alma Mater. Dad seemed indifferent as well.
There was much excitement and energy centered around Mother, who was thinking of all the things that Daughter would like here. Daughter acquiesced these thoughts.
The family seemed tight, that they were all together picking this out. The family also seemed detached from being on the same page and were not fully engaged.
Mister Meerkat treated them with warm welcome and bid them adieu once they had finished.
