A Change

I arrived at CommetCoins on Sunday evening at about six twenty one pm. It is still bright and sunny outside but it is starting to set. The weather is not too warm or too hot, it must be about eighty one degrees outside.

When I first walk in to order my drink and take a seat, there is no one in line. About ten minutes later there are ten people waiting in line and the line is out the door.

The patron group this evening Is a mix of people. As opposed to usual, the majority is not held by students. There is no particular concentration of any group. Most of the patrons seem to be just passing through today. There are plenty of seats available.

The furniture has been rearranges. The comfy chairs have been moved away from the fire place and now tables and chairs take their place.  The large table has been moved horizontally and away from the bar. There is now ample room for the patrons who choose to wait standing for their drinks by the bar.

The music in the backgrounds has been quieted down. They are playing music from the nineteen eighties.

The baristas working today are different then the ones working last week. There is one tall male with black hair and one average sized female with dirty blonde hair.  They are both cordial and polite towards each other unless it is completely necessary. They both act professionally towards each other but they do not joke or play around with each other. They have split the work load evenly. The very serious blonde girl makes all the drinks and the tall male takes the orders.

There is a man sitting alone with his Macbook Air. He is wearing a pair of black suit pants and dress shoes with a white button down and a black tie. The man’s beats earphones are black and the man’s watch and computer bag is black. He has been sitting there longer than me and is alternating between typing into google and reading. He is obviously doing research on something. He stares intently at his computer and has left his iced coffee untouched.

Today’s theme seems to be business. There is a young women about twenty three to twenty five who is working on something that talks about health but it does not look like school work. A man in a motor cycle helmet walks up to her and asks her is she has any samples of her product. She pulls out several little pouches of flavored powders by a company called Spark. She gives him one of each of the favors that he seemed interested in. She then handed him a pamphlet with the pictures and prices of the product along with other products too. Another women in sporty clothes approaches her asking about the product and she takes out the papers she was reading about health and explains them to the girl in sporty clothes. The reading material was informative flyers on the product.

Many of the older patrons in the room are well dressed and are having coffee with other people discussing matters of what seem to be business or work.

As it gets later more students start to come in.

Today there is a pretty much steady line. The baristas get only about three minuets between the rushes of lines.
