Bad Workers

This week at work I decided to observe the crew workers instead of the people that visit the restaurant. It turns out that the people that I work with are not very good workers in my honest opinion. The reason that I think that they bad workers is because they have horrible customer service skills.

The first thing that I noticed is that many of them are very lazy. There was a time when a very nice older lady went up to the front counter and politely asked if we sold decaf coffee. The worker taking her order quickly answered that we did not even though we did. The reason that she answered was because she was to lazy to walk to the back of the building and start making fresh coffee. The older lady walked back to her seat with only a cup of water.

Another time that I saw my coworkers be very rude was when an older non English speaking couple drove up through or drive through and began to order. For some reason the manager who answered those through the speaker would not talk to the man in Spanish even though it was clear that the man did not understand her. I then asked her why she would not speak in Spanish to them and she answered that because she does not like speaking in Spanish but I hear her speaking Spanish to some of my other coworkers.

Another time I decided to act as a regular customer and go through without them knowing it was me. I then began to ask them questions about some of their items. Whenever I would ask them questions about things that they did not have an answer to them would just say that that item was no longer sold even though the item was being advertised.
