Week six of field notes is here. I'm sitting in Corbett.
The usual atmosphere, busy and loud. I'm sitting alone trying to enjoy my lunch
but the group next to me is being extremely loud. I can't help but tune into
their conversation. One guy is talking about his plans for the weekend. One of
the three girls is chatting about a recent date she went on. And the other guy
is complaining about bombing his midterm. I also notice that they're all
drinking the same large caramel macchiato that I am from Einstein's. It must be pretty popular because I see other
people with the same drink. I look across from me and there is a couple. They
seem to be arguing but they're too far away for me to hear. Moments later the
girl storms off. I start to gather my
stuff because Corbett is just too busy for my liking, hopefully next week will
be better.
