NMSU v. LSU

NMSU v. LSU

This game was very interesting to watch for the first half. I watched the first half with my family, which was fun because we were all making predictions about the game. Since LSU is ranked 17th in the nation, in college football, and NMSU is probably ranked dead last, there were many predictions on what the final score would be.  Watching the game I couldn’t believe how big the stadium was at LSU. It was easily the size of an NFL football stadium, which amazed me. It was also amazing to see the thousands of LSU fans that filled the entire stadium. It is kind of depressing seeing how many fans can fill up their NFL sized stadium, and here at Aggie Memorial we hardly have the student section filled. I think I would definitely go to every home game if I knew the stadium would be filled up and the energy was like this for every game.

The first half was so interesting and surprising because LSU only score two touchdowns! Everyone thought the Aggies would be down by 56 by half time! What was really interesting was that there were at least 3 or 4 interceptions or fumbles from both teams!!!  This was shocking because LSU should not have been doing so horribly against the Aggies. The TV would show the LSU crowd and all the fans would look dumbfounded. They couldn’t believe LSU was doing so horribly. I think it took till the end of the first quarter for LSU to even score!

The second half I didn’t watch because we ended up losing 63 to 7 I think. But the first half was insane. It was like LSU was nervous to play the Aggies, which they should not have been. the loss was expected, but i think Aggie fans finally had hope that we would win. And actually from attending the games, it seems like there are more fans going out to support the Aggies, since we haven't lost every game of the season.
