A Party in the Desert

It was a Friday night at around 11:30 P.M. I went with a group of friends to a party at this time, it was a pretty big group; consisting of about 10 people. As we arrived at the party I noticed a DJ with a few people dancing, then I notice a large group of people standing by a bonfire. There are a group of four individuals that I will be writing about during this blog. The first individual we will refer to as Gadnana, is a Hispanic individual who 19 years old. He was a hilarious individual throughout the night. The other individual was named Mahu, he is a Hispanic and Hawaiian individual who is 20 years old.  The other person we will refer to as Gas Chamber, is a white male who 20 years old as well. Finally the last individual we will call Rice he was an 18 year old Hispanic male as well.

Mahu was the most outgoing individual out of all of them. He was the “party animal” for the night. He walks up to the 3 people that were dancing near the DJ and the strobe lights. From there he started dancing with the two girls; in a sort of free style motion yelling “HEY HEY HEY HEY HEY  YEA YEA YEAA!!!!!!!” Their voices started to attract Gas Chamber, Rice, and Gadnana. From there they joined in the dancing and chanting as well. Gadnana called for more people from the bonfire to join the dance circle. Once the circle was formed the more everyone from the party started dancing. Finally Mahu stepped out of the circle to rest for a little while, while Gas Chamber jumped right in after him. Rice came in as well for a total of 7 people dancing in the large circle. Everyone seemed to be having a good time dancing, the party went from being really chill, to everyone dancing and having fun.

After that Mahu, Gadnana, Gas Chamber, Rice left the circle to go to the bonfire. Once their they started talking to other people that were still by the bonfire. Mahu was wing manning for his friend Rice; saying that Rice was his brother from Hawaii. I didn’t think by Mahu pulling the Hawaiian card that it would get any females surprisingly however it did. I was really shocked.  Gas Chamber and Gadnana were talking to females as well, but they weren’t interested in getting any numbers or anything. The only thing they cared about was acting like fools and enjoying a good laugh. I remember the moon during that time was full; so they walked up to a group of girls and asked if they wanted to watch the moon with them. Once the girls said sure Gadnana and Gas Chamber started howling at the moon like wolves. Those two got a good laugh out of it but everyone else there thought they were really strange. I laughed but nevertheless those guys didn’t care what others thought about them.

The night went on and it was soon 2:30 A.M and Rice made it known that he, Gadnana, Mahu, and Gas Chamber were the ones who got the party started. Others from the party heard his comment and yelled in joy; agreeing with his statement, that they were the ones who made the party fun. I never thought a group of only four individuals, who don’t care what others think about them could have a major impact on a large group of people. They honestly had me laughing throughout the night, and helped me to enjoy the party more.
