An Abandon Sunset

As the sun sets on this wonderful Sunday evening the venue seems too quite only a few visitors have greeted the surrounding at the particular time and are not here to converse. They are two Asian ladies, both in their early 20’s. They said nothing but a few words as they walk in, put their stuff down and start to sunbathe. The only thing is that the sun is on its way down. Even though it is a sunbathe position it cannot be to bathe in the sun. These two ladies have been sitting here without moving for 30 minutes without moving or acknowledging each other. They gradually get up and converse lightly but nothing too major. They seem relaxed and just enjoying the fact that they are doing nothing. They seem as happy and peaceful as if their only little environment. It’s as if it wouldn't matter if 30 other people walked into the venue they would still do the same thing. They do seem foreign but they are speaking English which means they are probably students. A similarity that I am constantly seeing among all the people that are visiting is that the main attraction is not what they are interested. These people are coming for the company and conversation and staying for the water and the activities that might pursue. It doesn’t matter to them if they indulge in the water or not they just want to spend a good time with their friends and get away from it all. Unlike myself, I have never seen anybody affiliating this place with work of any kind. The people that come through here are taking part in stuff that can be wrapped up into one word, fun. Fun is what all these people are having. Fun is what all of these people have in common when they come here. The question I continue to ask myself is why here? What about this place makes everything so relaxed. Why can’t people come together in the comfort of their own home and do the same things. This place is just concrete and water yet it seems like a somewhat heavenly place for all of these people. This week was a slow week and the least amount of people I have had to observe so my finding have been limited but similarities have been concluded and next week will hopefully be a more populated.
