BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!

    The time is 2:39 pm, I can smell hamburgers and hot-dogs cooking on the grill as well as birthday cake sitting atop the counter. The birthday girl, Amy, is turning three today, she is my brother Skylar's adopted daughter. There are around twenty-five people in the house and they are all here to celebrate the aging of a little girl. Amy's mom, Banda, is around four feet, six inches tall. The Minnie Mouse pinata that was bought for Amy's birthday is about four feet, eight inches tall. The birthday party is Minnie Mouse themed. There is a Minnie Mouse bouncy house, a Minnie Mouse cake, and there is even someone dressed up as Minnie Mouse to play with the kids.

     The Time is now 3:40, everyone has eaten their share of hamburgers and hot-dogs and it is now time for Amy to blow out the candle, on the Minnie Mouse cake, that is in the shape of the number three. Skylar picks up Amy and puts her in the chair at the head of the table. The lights all go off and there is only a small amount of light that is passing around the blinds. The number three candle is then lit and everyone starts singing the Happy Birthday song. Amy is confused and decides to sing along. She blows out the candle and then the lights come back on. Skylar then starts to cut and pass out pieces of Minnie Mouse cake and little cups of ice cream.

    It's now 4:27, it's time for Amy to open up her gifts that she has received from all the fellow party goers. She receives a lot of clothes and even a Minnie Mouse outfit. She also receives many noise making gifts that are sure to be a lot of fun for Skylar and Banda to listen to repeatedly. She also receives a Disney Princess bicycle from Skylar and Banda.

    Now it is 4:49, one of the party goers has brought out the pinata. Skylar heaves it over a basket ball hoop and then Amy takes first go at it. As she is swinging with all her might, Skylar is lifting it up and down in order to make it an even more difficult task. After five little kids take turns trying to get the goodies from inside of the pinata, with no progress, an older child around the age of thirteen attempts the same task. After four swings Minnie was spilling her guts all over the ground and out came smarties, sour patch kids, and the ever popular Dots. Out of no where a swarm of seemingly sweet deprived children rushed to the scene. It was a brutal battle there was crying there was blood and there were shoes, candy, and diapers flying everywhere. As soon the scene died down a bit the adults started cleaning up the house. Everyone started leaving around 5:15.
