Can I Bus

People do not like to be told what to do. Especially when it is someone that is younger and at a lower position. I was not telling or commanding anyone else to do anything. The other busser is about two year younger than me and is in high school. For the last few weeks he has been getting mad at other employees and telling them to do certain tasks. He is not asking in a nice manner, he is rather acting like a strict supervisor. Being a busser is kind of like being a helper to all the servers and the bartenders. We as bussers are here for them. They are not here for us. Since I am the other busser any time people have any complaints about the Busser who is on his power trip they talk to me about it.
He has been unpleasant to the majority of servers, so they always ask me which part of the restaurant I am bussing for. When I tell them that I am not bussing for them they don't get mad at me, but they have the expression that they are not looking forward to working with him. Me and the other busser are more like teammates. We hardly ever have any problems. There was a time where he told me to not get an attitude with him when I was trying to get him to hurry because we were busy. I responded with "alright whatever man" and he later apologized. Since me and him have to work together he never tries to get mad or demand anything out of me. In his own words he has said "Everyone else can f*** off." He does not like a lot of the servers because he feels like they demand a lot out of the bussers and never try to help us. He does not like to be taken advantage of.

We have another busser who is a sophomore in high school. He plays football so he only works on weekends. Sophomore busser got the job because his mom knows the owners. His mother will not let him quit so this whole time he has been trying to get fired. The other servers tell me that when it is really busy he will just go into the tv room and just watch tv. He will work really slowly and just act careless the whole time. He always asks me to cover his shift the night before. I never do because I already made plans. He always gets mad because he never makes over thirty dollars, even though he is considered lazy. Before he started working I had his shifts and I never made under fifty dollars because I would work to my best ability. The servers would tell me "Thanks for saving me today."
