It is a warm, sunny day here at Las Cruces. It is mid-day, and the weather is very enjoyable. The people that I see seem to be in a very good mood. I head towards my field cite with a skip on my steps, I am also in a very good. When I arrive, this time a take a seat outside to observe the people there and to enjoy the warm day. As usual, I take out my notebook and pencil, but this time I ordered a burrito.
There are three groups of people sitting outside. There is a gentleman sitting with a woman, and they seem to be arguing about something. I can tell by their desperate looks, and by the way that they move their hands. The man seems to be loosing the argument by the subdued look he has. The woman knows she is winning, but she still does not let the argument go by even though she already proved her point.
The second group consists of two girls. They are both blonde and blue-eyed and one wears glasses. They are both eating, the girl with the glasses is eating a burrito, while the other girl is eating a granola and drinking coffee. They seem to be having a nice, comfortable conversation; the type that you have with a friend that you don't talk to about serious stuff. After five minutes of watching them, they pick up their things and leave together.
The third is just a single man sitting alone. He is listening to music as he pulls out a sandwich from the bag. He is very relaxed and does not seem to mind sitting alone. He is wearing a sweater which seems a little weird since it is warm outside.
I pick up my stuff and enter to the building. Once I walked in, the cool air greets me and cools me off. There is a lot of noise today; I was struck by how loud it was. I found my way to the table where I usually sit, but I took a seat in a different table because the table had food scattered on top of it. I noticed that the group of boys that was there the last time I came where there again. They seem to come here often, because it is the third time that I see them. This time they were cracking some jokes, and they looked like they were enjoying their time there and did not have a worry in mind.
Today, there were less people doing their homework, and I found weird that today nobody was doing their math homework; last week the majority of the people were working on math. Today only three people were using their computers and had their textbooks out.
