Friendship is alive and well

It is 9:53 p.m. Sunday night. It is very breezy outside and even a little chilly. It is sweater weather. Outside behind the Dormitory, in the drop-off zone one or two cars pull up and park to drop off a resident for the upcoming week. Many residents have bags and various amounts of luggage.
One resident in particular Ms. Stereotypical, whose clothing consisted of a light grey sweater and short black booty shorts, was carrying a handbag and a backpack, dragging one suitcase on wheels and using her middle finger to hold a big plastic bag that had "Savers" printed across the front. It appears that she visited family or friends and decided to go shopping at the thrift store as well this weekend. it is 10:04 p.m. As Stereotypical approached the dormitory door, she put her plastic bag down and started looking for her ID card to let her in. Just then Mr. Friend opened the same door from the inside and greeted Stereotypical and help carry her luggage. He was also wearing a light sweater, but the material on his looked thicker and it was blue instead of grey. He smiled at Stereotypical and started asking about her weekend. She rolled her eyes and started describing her weekend in a very stressed-out tone. She obviously didn't enjoy either her visit or her shopping experience. The pair keep on walking into the next patio over.
10:15 p.m. They stop in front of a door in the middle edge of the patio on the first floor and she gets out her keys from her handbag. She opens the door and holds it for Friend to go through first. He goes inside and out of sight for a bit. She follows him in with the rest of the luggage and closes the door.
At 10: 22 p.m. Inside the dorm, three patios down from where Friend and Stereotypical are, two males sit out side on the sidewalk, in swivel chairs, on the second floor. One male, Mr. Mac, has a Mac laptop that he's typing away at and the other male, Mr. Phone, has his smart phone out. They occasionally talk to each other every three to five minutes it seems, both very focused on his activity. Finally, Mr. Phone put his smart phone in his pocket and looks over to what Mac is doing on his laptop. He laughs and Mac smiles knowingly. They are in front of an open door which seem to have a small ukulele on the bed and a nirvana poster on the wall on one side or the room; the other side is out of sight; blocked by the open door. After 10 minutes (it is 10:32 p.m.), the pair get up from their chairs and walk back to the open room. Phone takes his chair with him. Mac leaves his outside until he places his laptop somewhere out of sight on the side that has the nirvana poster and then returns to retrieve his chair. He closes the door behind him. It appears they are dorm mates.
The time is now 10: 56 p.m. The next patio over, between the patios of Mac and stereotypical, two girls sit on the third floor with their legs hanging over the sidewalk and their arms leaning on the railing. One girl is covered with a grey blanket and she in barefoot. The other girl has black flip flops on and is wearing a light red sweater with black slackish pants. The one wearing the blanket, Ms. Blanket, constantly hugs her partner and seems to be attempting to soothe her. the other girl, Ms. Sad, seems to be dealing with something very distressing and her eyes are blotchy. She has been crying.
Sad looks down into the patio and says something to Blanket. Blanket (again) hugs Sad and says something in response. After thirty minutes of this, Blanket help Sad onto her feet and they turn around and head inside a door room. It is 11: 26 p.m.
