I'm pretty tired today. It's mid semester already which surprises me how fast it's gone, and finally things have picked up for me. Still, I have a lot more to do, and I'm trying to use this time to not think about homework, school, paperwork, etc. I have an iced vanilla latte, and a pretzel to consume, and I'm sitting pretty close to the water this time.
You can hear the water that sprays out of the fountain hit the rest of the pond. Kids are always playing here, so you can here the playful screams and such from the play ground or from the kiddos playing around the pond. I have that paranoia if that's what you would call it, of when a little one runs somewhere you're afraid they are going to fall. I definitely have that, especially because if they fell in the water here since its a man made pond you're not going to be falling in wet sand, its going to be concrete. I haven't seen any of them get hurt though which it good.
They're always more fun to watch, but please don't think I'm a pedophile haha. They just are so weird sometimes. Adults just sit there and talk on the phone or to each other, not much to write about or move your eyes to.
There are quite a few people dressed in black and white business attire today, but I don't really know what it's for. There's an area that's a bit like a gazebo or a covered picnic area, and they are all having a potluck there. A couple of them are standing outside talking to each other and that's how I noticed. It's just a bit odd to have a work lunch out here but I suppose it's a nice idea. It's just quite hot outside here still. I really hope it will cool off soon.
There's a little food truck that's always here too. I want to try it next time. I see at least three people standing waiting for food which is probably why he/she stays here to make their business. It looks like they have tacos, and mariscos, just authentic Mexican food, which I love. There's sometimes a ice cream truck in that spot as well, but not as often.
