Drama Queen decrowned

Not everyone goes into the restaurant for the good food. A lot of people like to be seen in the restaurant as if just being able to be there makes them feel like a high class person. People like to tell the employees about there relationship with The family who owns the restaurant. When a customer knows the family they feel like they deserve some special treatment. Knowing the family  makes customers act as if they are higher up than the people who are serving them, or cooking there food.

There was a couple that came into the restaurant at 9:57 pm. The restaurant closes at 10.They were good friends with the son of the owner. So they got to eat. The woman told me to go get her a bottle of wine. I told her I could not because I am not certified to sell alcohol. She gave me a mean look than asked the man she was with, "Why is he even here than?" When they sat down the man was mad about something. The woman went to the bar to talk to some guy she said she had an interest in. Her and the man she came in with are just friends. I brought out the first bread course and the man said thanks and I asked him if i can do anything for the table and he said no. I heard his tone which sounded annoyed and i asked him if everything is alright. He explained how he was unhappy with the woman he brought to the restaurant and how she is a drama queen. After telling me he felt better and the woman came into the room and sat at the table. He asked her if she had any luck with the guy she liked any she said no. Than she blew up about how unhappy she is and she will never find anyone. She was an attractive woman. The man said maybe if she wasn't such an asshole she could find someone. The insult didn't seem to offend her. She looked as if he was right. They both looked like they were not having a good time because the woman was sad about her unsuccessful love life and the man just wanted to eat and not hear the woman complain about herself. They both were wealthy. They bought expensive wine and menu items. The server who I was working with knew them and he knew that they had money. Two young wealthy people were both unhappy, because they were getting negative feedback from other people. The woman felt unwanted, because of the way the man at the bar was not interested in her and the man she was with was not happy with the way she was acting.

It seems that people are affected by the way people react to them. everybody likes when they get positive attention. People seem to get mad when they get negative attention, and they get depressed when they get little to no attention.
