Today was a particularly busy day, being the day where you usually spend it with family.
There was no table that was empty, and the slight buzz of conversation is higher than usual.
As I look around I see that everyone is in a very happy and chipper mood. I have separated the
crowd into two immediate groups. Two thirds of the company is dressed in their Sunday
best and the rest ( the other one third ) is dressed very casually. I can infer that ( using my
common sense) the people that are dressed nice have spent their morning in church and while
the others have decided to spent their Sundays relaxing. Of course you can go to church in
casual clothing but most prefer to dress up.
In this section there are three types of groups. Around me in the tables are either big families,
couples or a group of friends. There are three big families, three couples and one group of friends.
The big families are the ones dressed nice and the couples and the group of friends which is
composed of all ladies are dressed a bit more casual.
The big families are basically composed the same, all have at least one baby, big kids and parents.
They talk and laugh carefree of the noise they make, making the ambiance very happy and light.
They have conversations about their weak, their mornings and always their food.
The couples on the other hand are different. There are two middle aged couples, and one young
couple. They are all dressed casually and all start to eat quietly, then once the are a fourth through
their food do they really start to talk. The young couple is very affectionate and are unaware the
are synchronized. They seem to eat at the same time, lifting their utensils at the same time, only
later broken by the girl stopping to drink from her cup. The other couple on my right is quite
different as the first. This couple is older and seem to have a fascination to the window near
their table. They eat while once in a while glancing out and observing. I am not able to see
what they are watching but it must be very interesting because it seems to be the prominent
topic of there conversation. The last couple which is to my left is not as old as the second
couple but older than the first. They seem to enjoy each others company, always smiling and
conversation topics very inconsequential.
The group of friends is composed of woman in what appears to be their late forties early fifties.
They can infer that they are having a splendid time, as they laugh and catch up on their latest
hobbies. They all wear glasses but are not using them to eat in which I assume they are probably
reading glasses.
The establishment is still buzzing with business as I leave, everybody I see with a smile on
their face enjoying their day of rest with the people that make them happy.
