Is this goodbye?

I walk into the toy store with Star Lord. Sitting near the cash register, Mr. Piccolo is playing his 3DS and says hi to us as we walk in. Star Lord asks if there is anyone else that has been here. Mr. Piccolo mentions that Lunch Box is out getting food for the two of them, and that Loud Mouth was here but left shortly before we arrived. Star Lord then proceeds to sit down near Mr. Piccolo and starts to talk to him. The two discuss how their week has been and what has been happening in their lives. Unlike when more people are here, the two guys go into more personal details about their lives. This indicates that they are close friends and trust each other well enough to talk about their personal lives.

Soon Lunch Box returns to the toy store with food. Mr. Piccolo, Star Lord, and I move to the other side of the store where there are tables while Lunch Box stays on the side we were on. Since Mr. Piccolo and Lunch Box are cousins, I would assume that Star Lord as also known Lunch Box for a while, but Star Lord is not very close to Lunch Box. This could be because Lunch Box chooses to be isolated from the group. I have also hear Mr. Piccolo mention that Lunch Box only likes to come to the toy store to buy toys rather than hang out with the people there.

A customer walks into the store. She asks if there are any balloons for sale. Both Star Lord and Mr. Piccolo are confused by this question since this is a toy store. Mr. Piccolo informs here that there is not and the woman seems frustrated by his answer then leaves. As soon as the woman leaves Star Lord and Mr. Piccolo burst out laughing.

Rocket and Guy walk into the store not long after the balloon lady left. Star Lord immediately tells what happened and the two guys find it funny. Rocket and Guy are asked about how their week has been. The group talks about different subjects for a while. One of the subjects if the future of the store. Everyone suspects that the toy store will soon be closing due to the incompetent owners. Star Lord and Mr. Piccolo reminisce about a time when the store actually had a lot of people coming in and the store was thriving. However, that was changed when the owners decided that the customers were not important.

The conversation quickly turns to where the members of the group will start playing if the toy store does close. Mr. Piccolo said he will probably go run games at a new toy store that opened up across town. Star Lord says he will probably go somewhere closers to his house since he actually lives pretty far away. Rocket says he would not mind driving across town if it means he still gets to be with his friends. Guy said he is going to check out a few other toy stores around town before he picks one that he enjoys playing at.

The previous conversation had a tone of sadness. For these group of guys, this toy store is their sanctuary. It is where they can come meet friends and have stories to tell. The talk about it closing makes them sad because they know they probably will not see each other every week. Everyone has different lives, but the toy store was somewhere where they can all meet up and be together. The next few weeks will show if the group will be able to remain together, or if they must say their goodbyes and go their separate ways.
