Gather 'round the water hole, kids

Mister Meerkat called everyone together.
So around a desk was sitting, Nice Shades (or Mr. Mirrors), Almond eyes, Mr. Mocha, Mr. Zebra and Ms. Wildebeest.
We are all sitting around, and Mister Meerkat is explaining important things. and Mr. Mirrors has a very attentive face, while Almond eyes is looking around. Ms. Wildebeest is checking her phone; Mr. Zebra is paying attention, with his upper torso turned towards Mr. Meerkat- so he really seemed attentive- and Mr. Mocha was paying casual attention.
Ms. Disney stepped in during the middle with an already aggravated expression. She did not explain, but sat down and joined the gathering. Mr. Mirrors had his torso leaning towards Mister Meerkat, and had his hands steepling- as if he were thinking about other things that needed talking about.
Mr. Meerkat discussed some possible future repercussions, but the only thing that changed in his visage was a crinkled brow. Otherwise, he carried on with laughter.
Everyone seemed to be leaning slightly a little after or before whoever next to them had leaned, as if they had similar rhythms, or had become slightly in sync.
Mr. Mirrors and Mr. Mocha usually tend to dress a little similar- with nice shirts and khakis or jeans, and similar sunglasses. This shows more of an interest in looking presentable than an actual closeness between the two people, possibly. Mr. Mirrors tends to mirror who he is communicating with, and enlist a look of concern, and relieve himself of it once the conversation is done.
Almond eyes widened her eyes at one point, and nearly popped out of her seat, which is seeming a norm, and her tone became quite escalated. This occurred as she was explaining an occurrence of a couple days ago. She used loud hand gestures and vivid facial expressions; the rest of the herd was nodding along seamlessly, and Mister Meerkat inevitably diffused it as he asked questions, with his unfazed expression.
Mr. Meerkats demeanor is central to the activity of the herd, as the inner chaos that ensues, and that is inevitably brought to the table, is smoothed out by his questions and calm but effective action. His body language is- or has not been witnessed by me yet- to be dismissive or evasive.
Ms. Disney, contrastingly, will on the offhand use evasive and curt or brusque tones to explicate her lack of desire for communication. In an interaction between her and- not listed above- Bush Baby, she only replied a word on the subject and turned her head back to her work. This could also signify her lack of closeness to Bush Baby, especially on a sensitive subject.
The herd, after the gathering, had dispersed, and I was left mulling things over with Mr. Mocha, Mr. Mirrors, and Mr. Zebra. Mr. Zebra doesn't talk very much, but tends to have ruddy cheeks from laughing. Mr. Zebra is soft spoken, in witnessed interactions between myself and Mr. Mocha and Mirrors. The group of us discussed further things of importance- for the herd- and later dispersed with amicable 'goodbye's'. Interestingly, Mr. Mirrors said goodbye to each person, several times, as the conversation kept unraveling itself, but we all had places to rush to. These godobye's lasting so long could be an indicator of fondness among us animals.
