It's Pretty Much the Same

So, I decided to spend the weekend at home. I had a really rough week this week and I honestly am not feeling well, but hey I managed to find another pond at a university to compare my original study site to.

This pond here is so gross. Our pond is not that bad until you go to this pond. There's always a dead koi fish floating around, like, what the heck is the water bad? It's brown, it has trash etc. From far away it looks fine but getting up close it's pretty dirty.

I used to always go to this pond. It was the meeting place for everything since I never knew where anything else was since I decided against attending this university in particular, but it just happened to be the easiest thing for everyone to find. I had a few groups of friends when I was younger and it was always, "hey let's meet at the duck pond." And everyone knew that area and there wasn't any confusion. It would be cool if any of you know what I'm talking about and can relate to this. You can comment on these anonymously right? If you can that would be super awesome if you used the duck pond as a meeting place. If not that alright too, I'm unsure if you can comment anyways. I've only had one friend actually make the pond a meeting place. I figure its because its out of the way where as this one is right smack in the middle of the buildings. I'm positive if our pond was in between buildings there would be a ton of people there all the time, but its a far walk for ours.

There's way more ducks here. They even bit someone I knew when she was sitting down here. But people always come to feed them bread crumbs or whatever. It's usually the parents with children who want to throw them food. You can too in the water if you get a spot with the koi hanging out.

There's also a lot more people here. During the day at the original pond I see 10 people tops at one time. Here, in between classes during week days especially, it's packed with people sitting on the grass around it. It looks like how a concert would on the grass with people somewhat spread out. Students mostly, I believe. They smoke here as well, eat, hang out, talk, same regular things as the other, just a lot more people. On the weekends or after school hours, 4 to 6-ish, its much more calm and looks like how ours does all the time.

I still like this pond, I suppose. It just has a lot of memories for me, yet I never spent much time here, its just a meeting place.
