Week four of anthropology field work is here. As I walk to my normal field work destination I realize it's very hot out and bright! Fall is suppose to be here now it should be getting cooler. At least my field destination is inside, as I enter it there isn't that many people as there usually is.
A few people are sitting alone at the tables to the table to the left. While I'm walking through few Aggies scatter to get their drinks and food. Walking towards the back everyone is smiling, many still in their pajamas sitting in groups at the tables, there's a girl hugging a young man telling him "congratulations, that that was awesome"! I'm guessing henplays football and that he played in last nights game?
I sit down to enjoy my food and beside me are two friends a boy and girl. They are having a conversation, in the middle of it then boy gets a phone call. He talks for a few minutes and it seems like he is talking to a family member, I was right he ends the phone call and tells his friend it was his brother and that he had to help him out because, the family is alwayshard on his brother and start asking him life questions. Like, what is he going to do with his life and so on the conversation proceeds to a lot of various topics, which I don't understand. I finish my meal and begin to get up to leave. Everyone is always smiling, how sweet!
