A Multitasking Soothing Environment

The atmosphere is calm. There is slow classical music playing in the background. Business seems to be going slow this day and that is maybe because it’s a weekday and everyone is at home relaxing from a full day at work. I enter the building and my first sight is all of these colorful books of different genres. I continue walking further into the building and a scent of coffee goes into my nose. Yes this is indeed Bernard and Neville with the Sunbucks included as well.

With my Frappuccino in hand I find a seat and sit down. From the atmosphere going calm it is now much noisier as the blenders go off to make the drinks for the customers. The coffee lady Sarah is juggling two jobs at once from taking the customers’ orders to making the actual drinks. Since business is slow she is just standing in the back waiting for someone to come to the front desk. Sarah soon gets busy as a family of three walk to the front and order 3 cookies, 2 coffees, and 1 Frappuccino. The little kid, Ben, of course gets the Frappuccino since he seems to not like coffee too much, he prefers the sweets. The family of three grab their order and exit out the door.
As the business slows down once again Sarah goes back into the back room and waits for more customers. On the other side of me there are customers going through the shelves of books trying to find what interest them. There is somewhat of an old man, John, looking at the books of history. He seems to have an interest in a book and picks it up. He reads the back of the book and seems to like and takes it with him.
From a far view I see the kids’ reading section. This section from the store is very colorful with different characters to call the kid's attention. From Charlie Brown to dinosaurs.  A little girl, Samantha is looking at a book of ballerinas from what I could see from my seat. She seems to be a girly girl because she is wearing bright pink. As my view turns back to the coffee place business seems to be slow still with Sarah still being in the back waiting for customers. Two middle aged persons, Andy and Violet, seem to have sat near us getting into a loud conversation. They seem to be talking about their personal lives discussing home situations. Violet is talking about her mom and how they use to be close when she was younger and how they have now grown apart since she has a family of her own now. She is also talking about her relationship with her dad but I can’t seems to hear the rest of the story because the sound has gotten louder from the atmosphere. Andy seems to genuinely care about what Violet is talking about and now starts to share his stories.
Apart from Violet and Andy sitting near us there are other two young teens sitting by us as well, Lila and Bradly. I come to a conclusion that Lila and Bradly are working on math homework since they have their calculators out and they keep mentioning y and x axes.  As the evening starts to get darker and as I finish my Frappuccino I start to pack up my stuff and head out. Andy and Violet continue with their personal relationship and Lila and Bradly continue to work on homework as well.
