Dirty Truckers

So I work at a Judy’s that is connected to a gas station which is also a truck stop. There are hundreds of people who come buy all day but I usually work during the mornings from about 6 am that we open until 2 in the afternoon. One thing that I have noticed though is that truckers are not big fans of showers specially the heavier ones.

One of the bad things about my work place is that it does not serve breakfast so many people end up getting upset because of that. One thing that I have noticed is that truckers are very rude people especially in the morning when they notice that we do not serve breakfast they always make a big deal out of that. Another thing that I noticed is that the truckers who smell the worst are the most rude. Another rude quality that I noticed about truckers is that they never hand you the money they will always just throw it on the counter, that is one of my pet peeves so it really annoys me personally but I asked some of my coworkers and they also feel like that just shows what bad manners most truckers possess. Another bad quality that I noticed about truckers is that they are extremely stingy.

Since the gas station pilot has a rewards card they always want to use at Judy’s but Judy’s does not take there reward points they get very angry because they have to pay a couple of dollars for a cheeseburger. What’s most annoying is that they complain at us the workers and we are not the ones that set the rules yet they want to talk us like if we were the ones making them. Like I previously stated truckers are not known for their good scent because they rarely shower but one of the smells that they mostly have is the smell of cigarette most of the truckers that visited smelled like cigarette, which led me to believe that most truckers are smokers.
