It seems as though the volume of the hard working individuals has been on the decline since I started my observation. Being a participant as well I find myself growing tired of the monotony but reaping the affects of a strict routine. The sun is down and the area has only a hand full of faithful and hard working individuals.
I tag along with "Mr. Obsessed" (Mr. O for short). The reason for Mr. O's name is due to the fact that maintaining and improving his body has become a staple in his life along side his course work. Mr. O, although big and lean, seems to exhibit signs of a lower self confidence. He often remarks his journeys outside the establishment but some how always relates his experiences back to the gym.
We had conflict with a pair of individuals that were concerned with Mr. O's treatment of gym equipment. Mr. O's logical process trumps his emotional response and he proceeds to try not to be so abusive to the equipment. Mr.O is in the intermediate - experienced class individual seeing as he has been experimenting with routines and caloric intake for 5 years to produce the body he has now, Although I have been attending the area frequently I do not see many solid participants, I assume that most people reject the thought of lifestyle change to pursue a healthier physique. For now I will end my notes on this weeks notes. I'll try to observe the opposite gender and their fitness rituals as I am ignorant towards their main goals.
Side note: I've heard many people talk about problems that do not seem to hold up to basic anatomy. These include but are not limited to "over training", "lift big, disregard form", and etc. I'm starting to wonder how ignorance spreads so quickly here. The basic line of research is needed to see if the individuals claims hold any amount of truth to them.
