Hunger Fix

An abundance of food is available for consumption at this gathering of sellers. Anything that would lure the palate is at the grasp of the wallet. The entrees and side dishes are from ordinary to unordinary filling the building with culinary scents from around the world. Individuals around observe the environment similarly to myself, taking in the selection.

A long haired man with a tie-dye shirt walks up to a Chinese food counter. Tie-Dye searches the menu and makes an order that takes several minutes it seems. I wondered if the man was ordering all the feast or him or for another group. When the order is ready it is piled in two plastic bags and Tie-Dye briskly leaves.

I see a woman with two children approach the pizzeria. The Trio contained two boys, each with a toy in their hand. This Trio waits in line while a Suspenders Man gets his slice of pizza. They choose what looks to be a small pizza and a side. Moments later the Trio mother returns to the counter, and grabs many napkins. After the order is done they pay and part towards the bakery area a t a leisurely pace.

Vest makes his way to the Chinese food counter. He is an older man with a subtle bit of gray hair. The man talks with the cashier and points at different dishes. Vest looks unsure on what he is actually getting and contemplates for a while. He suddenly shakes his head and points and a single item and agrees to it. Once the meal is finalized, Vest exits the premises.

Then I see Tie-Dye return to the area going to the ice cream parlor. He stands in line behind two people, male and a female. The male, White Shirt, and the female, Yellow Shirt, both ordered cups of ice cream. When it came to Tie-Dye he made the transaction right away. In less than a minute his order was done and Tie-Dye walked away with an ice cream of some sort on a cone. A group of people traveled towards him and they maneuvered around him while he ate his dessert, not looking up.

The crowd at the building began to slow down in circulation. People exited and while others ate their meals at the tables provided.

A woman walking by herself with dress on goes past the leaving crowd of people. She is wearing high heeled shoes, heading towards the bakery shop. High Heels approaches the glass of pastries and breads and determines what she wants. She purchases her items while a couple walks up to the shop. High Heels walks away towards the exit.

I notice a security guard that must be off shift go to the pizzeria. Badge, converses with the cashier and places his order and pays cash. When his food is ready he leans up against the wall to eat. Badge finishes his meal quickly, throws away his trash and enters a “authorized personal only” door. Some of the food shops begin to close down, while some fill their last orders.
